Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

Welcome to Herbloomly (“Herbloomly,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Herbloomly publishes hairstyle, haircare, and beauty articles at herbloomly.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit the website, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you choose to send us. If you contact us by email or through a form on the site, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit Herbloomly, some technical information may be collected through your browser, cookies and similar technologies, and the services that run the site. Depending on your cookie choices and the services involved, this can include:

  • Pages viewed, time on page, interactions with the site, and the page or website that referred you
  • Browser type, device type, operating system, and screen information
  • Approximate location (such as country or city), derived from your IP address
  • Cookie identifiers and similar online identifiers
  • IP address and request details, which our hosting provider or website tools may process to deliver and secure the site

Depending on where you live, some of this information, including IP addresses and online identifiers, may be treated as personal information under applicable law.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and secure the website
  • Understand how visitors find and use Herbloomly so we can improve our articles and site experience
  • Respond to messages and privacy requests
  • Record and respect your cookie choices
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent misuse of the site

3. Cookies and Consent

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Herbloomly uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your consent choices, and, with your consent, measure how the site is used.

We use Complianz, a WordPress consent management plugin, to manage cookie consent. When you first visit, a banner gives you three options:

  • Accept allows the cookie categories described in the banner, including statistics cookies used for Google Analytics.
  • Deny declines non-essential cookies.
  • View Preferences lets you review the cookie categories and choose which to allow.

Functional cookies needed for the site to work, including a cookie that stores your consent choice, remain active regardless of your selection. Google Analytics is configured in Complianz under the statistics category. Our setup is intended to run analytics only in line with your choice.

You can change your choice at any time using the Manage Consent button on the site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may affect how parts of the site work. For more detail, see our Cookie Policy (EU).

4. Google Analytics 4 and Google Site Kit

Herbloomly uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 is connected to the website through Google Site Kit, an official WordPress plugin from Google that links the site to Google services and places the Analytics tag.

When analytics is active, GA4 may process information such as page views, interactions, referral sources, device and browser details, and approximate location. It may also use cookies or similar identifiers to recognize a browser across visits. GA4 uses IP addresses to estimate location, and Google describes how it handles IP addresses in its Analytics documentation. What is actually processed depends on our Analytics settings and your consent choices.

We use Analytics reports to see which articles are helpful and how the site performs. We do not use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors by name. How long Analytics data is kept depends on the retention settings of our Analytics property.

Google processes this information under its own terms and the Google Privacy Policy. Separately from our cookie banner, Google offers the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which works independently of the choices you make on Herbloomly.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. Clarity may record clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, and uses cookies to do so. It is only loaded if you accept statistics or analytics cookies where consent is required. Learn more in Microsoft’s privacy statement: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement

5. Advertising and Affiliate Links

Herbloomly works with Journey by Mediavine to display advertising on this site. Mediavine and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit, in order to show ads, measure how they perform, and in some cases show ads based on your interests. Where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent through a consent banner before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choices at any time through that banner. To learn more about interest-based advertising and how to opt out, visit https://optout.aboutads.info and https://www.youronlinechoices.eu.

Herbloomly does not currently use affiliate links or publish sponsored content.

6. Contact Messages and Email

When you email us, we use your email address and message only to respond and to keep a record of the conversation where needed.

Herbloomly does not currently operate an email newsletter or use an email marketing service, and we do not send promotional emails. If we introduce a newsletter in the future, we will update this policy to explain what is collected, how it is used, which service providers process it, and how to unsubscribe.
Our contact form is provided by WPForms, and messages are delivered by email through WP Mail SMTP. Share buttons are provided by Social Warfare and link to Pinterest, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.

7. Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not currently share information with advertising networks. Information may be processed by:

  • Google, for analytics through GA4 and Site Kit
  • Our hosting and website infrastructure providers, as needed to run, maintain, and secure the site
  • Authorities or other parties, where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the rights and safety of Herbloomly and its visitors

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy documentation, and we do not control all of their practices.

8. Links to Other Websites

Herbloomly contains links to other websites and platforms, including our Pinterest profile and social sharing links. When you follow these links, the other site’s privacy policy applies, and we are not responsible for its practices or content.

9. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Messages you send us are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for reasonable record-keeping. You can ask us to delete them, and we will do so where the law allows, though we may keep certain records where required for legal or legitimate operational reasons.
  • Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our Google Analytics property.
  • Cookies expire according to their individual settings, or when you delete them.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Visitors

Herbloomly is written mainly for readers in the United States, but it can be accessed from anywhere. Information collected through the site, including by Google, may be processed in countries other than your own, where data-protection laws may differ.

12. Your Privacy Rights and Requests

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct or delete it
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Receive a copy of your information (data portability)
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave

Some laws also provide rights relating to the sale or sharing of personal information. If data-protection laws in the EEA or UK apply to our processing of your information, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. The availability and scope of these rights depend on the applicable law, your location, and the processing involved.

How to make a request: email herbloomly@gmail.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and describe what you would like us to do. We may need to verify your identity or your request before responding. To change your cookie choices, use the Manage Consent button on the site.

13. Children’s Privacy

Herbloomly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our website, services, or data practices change, for example if we introduce advertising, affiliate links, or a newsletter. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.
